1.      Bargain – To discuss terms in order to reach a better deal.
Sentence: We tried to bargain for a lower price during the contract discussion.

2.      Compromise – A solution where both sides give up something to reach an agreement.
Sentence: We reached a compromise by adjusting the payment schedule.

3.      Counteroffer – A new offer made in response to an initial offer.
Sentence: They rejected our proposal, but they made a counteroffer with better terms.

4.      Concession – Something given up or agreed to in a negotiation.
Sentence: We made a concession by reducing our service fees.

5.      Leverage – An advantage that one party has in a negotiation.
Sentence: Our company has strong leverage because we offer exclusive technology.

6.      Mutual Agreement – A decision that both parties accept.
Sentence: After several discussions, we reached a mutual agreement.

7.      Deadlock – A situation where neither side can agree.
Sentence: The negotiation reached a deadlock, and both sides refused to compromise.

8.      Win-Win Situation – An outcome that benefits both parties.
Sentence: We structured the deal as a win-win situation for both the buyer and seller.

9.      Bottom Line – The lowest or most important condition someone is willing to accept.
Sentence: Our bottom line is that we won’t accept anything below a 10% profit margin.

10.  Terms and Conditions – The specific details of an agreement.
Sentence: Before signing, we carefully reviewed the terms and conditions of the deal.

11.  Proposal – A formal offer or plan.
Sentence: Our company submitted a proposal for a long-term partnership.

12.  Breakdown in Communication – A failure to understand each other in a discussion.
Sentence: The deal fell apart due to a breakdown in communication between both teams.

13.  Hard Bargain – A tough negotiation with strict terms.

14.  Settlement – An official agreement to resolve a dispute.
